Eco Stickers FAQs
What materials are commonly used in making eco-friendly labels?
A paper sticker is a common choice for eco-friendly labels, as most are recyclable. You can find paper labels in a wide range of finishes from textured to glossy. However, an uncoated or brown kraft paper are the most popular options.
Are there any trade-offs in quality or durability with eco-friendly labels?
At Handy Labels, we offer a premium paper range, so our customers do not need to miss out on high print-quality or luxurious-looking labels if they choose an eco-friendly option. However, it is important to note that these materials are not as durable as their vinyl counterparts, as paper stickers are not waterproof and can tear. If you are after a durable labelling solution, we would recommend our waterproof vinyl range.
What's better - Vinyl or Paper?
As vinyl labels are made from a plastic material, they are not considered to be the most environmentally friendly choice as paper labels. However, as they are more durable, they will last for longer, resulting in less waste as you will not need to throw them away and replace them for a long time. Choice is yours!
Are stickers recyclable?
Our stickers are our most environmentally friendly sticker option and can be put into the recycling bin but not the compost bin due to the toner and adhesives used.
